Club Corner

sat there last year and you can see the exit of stowe all the way up to Abbey + all the overtaking (especially after last year) and there is a tv there as well (just incase you wanna see what else is going on).

if your willing to spend silly money on a grandstand! i dont like it anyway, when its full you cant really see much, ok, you can see into the pitlane, and maybe the podium, but thats not enough of a draw if your seeing a car flash past in 2 seconds

lol, after all that debate on seats...

I've never stayed at either, but I'd recommend a hotel simply because it's easier to pack up and get outta there in the morning. The only disadvantage would be if you like your cooked breakfast in the morning!

Oh, and book MONTHS in advance.

i agree copse would be awesome

as i went and watched there during testing, and you are quite close to the track

and i saw cars go into copse with amazing speed, and too see cars close or overtaking into copse during a race must be awesome

also, bridge would be good - where rubens overtook kimi at last years gp. thats a great high speed corner leading into the infield complex towards the end of the lap

or stowe corner is another good place to watch, see the cars hurtling into stowe from the hangerstraight, and overtaking into there

or the bekketts/maggotts complex, that is AWESOME to see F1 cars dash left to right to left thru there TOTALLY AWESOME

that is a must for any F1 fan.

just seeing the Maserati Trofeo cars racing into there was great!

I'm in the same boat as RonF1 - sounds like a LOT of walking, but here was the plan i had roughly made up in my head:

Friday - Somewhere near Maggots/Becketts complex, purely for photos and stuff.
Saturday - Prolly Club or Stowe
Sunday - up at 4am to get a spot at Luffield ;)

Comments?

Just walk round the whole track, thats what we did last year, best year by far, got to see all the action.

In 2000 we had grandstand seats at woodcote and it was great purely as it was the first time i had seen F1 for real

But the following year we could only get general admission so we stood at becketts for the entire race

but last year was by the best, BRDC VIP passes, sat at grandstand for support races & stood and watched the whole race from different vantage points

best year by far:)

plus we got to meet these guys ;)

Definitely walk round the whole track, and just stop for a few minutes wherever you like.
As for accomodation,EVERY hotel and B and B is booked up for miles. I've booked to stay on one of the campsites. They are one of only a few who take bookings, the rest of them tell you just to turn up early.

you can stand on the inside of the corners just after copse,

i forgot the name, but you can stand REALLY close to the track and watch the cars swerve left - right - left etc. then out onto the hanger straight

i would walk around the whole track - thats the best thing

yeh walk around the track. thats what we did in 2003 n will do in 2004.

i was at becketts and maggots for the race, brilliant watching the cars flick left and right.

would like to go up to stowe corner this year tho, for the overtaking hopefully.

i hear you're not allowed to swamp the track at the end of the race. So if you're at the other end of the track, you just stay there and then go home? Can you not get on the track and stand below the podium?
