Berger said a few weeks ago the car won't be ready til late February, so its most likely that the car isn't finished yet.

Same as Red Bull means, same as the RB2 or as the RB3?

yeah so RBR and TR use the same exact car, built by Red Bull Technologies to get round the legal issues, with slightly different engine mounts to suit the Renault/Ferrari engines.

whereas Aguri just use the 2006 Honda cars.

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

Expect SA to change it slightly, and argue that it's a different car, and that they own the intellectual property in their own right.

Dont expect something like what TR did last year with SA.

The TR was about as near as you can get to the RB2...

I imagine the SA will show abit of thier own work in the new car.

the tiny change you mention Rubidius is the difference in engine mountings/fixings. they can run 99.9999% identical cars, but if 1 or 2 brackets are different between the cars to attach their respective engines, they they're classed as different cars in the eyes of the FIA. and for Honda/Aguri to get round the rules of who designed the cars, they just say that the '06 Honda was designed by BAR during '05, then run by Honda in '06, then run by Aguri in '07, meaning Aguri aren't running a car designed by who ran them last.

i don't follow... you mean the relative performance between the works team and the B-team, as TR often were matching RB?

surely the TR of '06 was the Red Bull of '05, the RB1, and not the RB2?

probably, but it will no doubt have a lot of input from the works Honda team, after all they ran it all last season, so know it better than Aguri who've just "adopted" it.

They were earlier than expected, and there it is: the new STR:

Not a copy of the RB2, but i think it'll match the RB2 in speed and reliability ;)
