is shaping up to be amazing.

we say this every year, but this year really is.

Will Ferrari minus Brawn and Michael be as effective?
Are Honda able to take advantage of their status quo.
Alex Wurz is back racing :D:D:D:D:D:D!!!
Giancarlo will be team leader, and imo with no Alonso he will be able to bloom :p
Mclaren have got 2 new drivers for the first time in ermm a long time!!
Will BMW continue to develop their car as quick as last year?
Will Newey make as much a difference to RB as people say and hope?

2007 has all the ingredients for a good season, 1 will make it ultra competitive is the tyres. Now in mildly moist conditions/monsoon :P everyone will have the same tyres and we will be able to see who is really good!!

Not sure, after Hungary though I would place Alonso at the top of the list! And after Hungary/China, JB not far off.

Well, everything is so unpredictable, that there also is a chance of one team dominating the whole season, leaving all the others far behind. Let's hope not though.

I doubt that.. There is no any so special rain masters like Scumi and Senna now.. Just "average" drivers.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

actually this year will be good so we can finally actually see who is good in rain and who is not because all teams have similar tyres ....but of course car will still have to be good if you want to win a wet weather race.

Anyway.. If Ferrari is gonna have so good car after 2 crappy seasons as people are dreaming about it wont prove Kimi's "skills" anyway..

I bet my money on Alonso and Heikki about who will be champion and who is new "rain prince".

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Alonso proved he's quite good on wet tarmac on last year's Hungarian Grand Prix.

I've been watching each F1 season since 1991 and following pre-season since 1993.
Every year it's always the same bla bla ... ("the most exciting season since ...";).
Hope it will be the case this year.

By the way here are some data sorted (by birth date and races done) to have a better view of this season drivers.

Analyses expected from you ...

I thought kimi was not that old compared to Fernando.
Rubens may be closed from retiring.

Are you saying Kimi has never spun off in a GP? I'm sure I can remember him making mistakes in his Sauber days causing him to retire.. Don't get me wrong he is a damn good driver that makes so very few mistakes when you consider the pressure he has been under like the 05 season. Certinaly can't say he doesn't try his best all the time.

I'm not too optimistic for this season, I've got a feeling that it will be Raikkonen white wash. I just hope I'm wrong and hope that McLaren & Renault can pull it together to make it a 3 way battle.

On the topic of the `rain-master` currently I personally think Alonso is probably best positioned. He drives with a lot of understeer and has an aggressive initial turn in which is often a very good technique to use in the wet and sometimes even cool conditions where you might be struggling to get the tyre temperature required.

Keiran, you kart dont you?

Is it true that during the wet, you get more grip if your on the throttle during turn in to a corner?

Suzuka 2000, a huge spin for Kimi which annihilated Jean Alesi's Jordan in his final GP ;)
