This is a newbie question: Kimi's helmet is round in the back now. In McLaren he had some small plastic "parts" in the back (Alonso, Fisichella, have those too)
Do those things have any functionality or are they purely cosmetic?
If it's not clear I will send pictures

Yes he had a wing in the back of his helmet. It keeps the helmet down when driving at high speeds.

And about his new design, it's great

please dont get me wrong i love Red/Black?white colors its what i do all my cars i race in in games but that is just yeck
