This is a fake and the FIA are hoping to introduce this in 2009, I think.

That is a fake, no question. Although it is very well done.

It's an ugly solution this CDG concept. I belive the teams are actually investing a less radical more traditional alternative.

Because if Mosley manages to push this CDG bollocks through, I don't think I'd be able to bear to look at F1 cars anymore.

---

It doesn't really look like a Le Mans car. But I see where you got that impression from. I'd actually prefer F1 to become LMP1 Coupe style than have CDG.

I think it loooks very nice although they put Marlbora on the new wings but not the engine cover which kinda gives it away a bit I think

The image also has the car with slick tyres which I believe are being reintroduced sometime in the next few years...

Yea but if it was argued that the pic is not a fake people who think it is not could say slicks may be reintroduced and bridgestone are giving them a little favour

I just hope they can sort of leave the cars as they are but just remove the extra winglets.

The way the FIA are going they will ruin F1 even more. As it is i no longer get excieted as i used to

i even hated the larger engine covers they forced them to use from the '04 season. how ace did the cars look with the low, sloping profile, compared to the big clumsy design of the '04 >present cars.

Ferrari just for one example:

I actually like the new-style engine covers, for me anything that makes the F1 cars look more like cars, rather than a writhing mass of curves and flip-ups, is a good measure.

If they use that 2 rear wing, it will look like a Le Man car.

F1 cars is getting faster a more dangerous and they try to reduce the speed by going to V8, i think in the future they will use V6.

Don't be silly, V6's are a 20 yr step back.

They should go to V10's or V12s, restricted rpms ofc.

They are getting faster as the FIA cocked up. Cars can go faster in corners now as they made the engine smaller but did not reduce the downforce. Cars are slower on the straight where people do not really lose control of a car.
