Marco Andretti to test Honda

Yes he did test a few times, but my understanding is that he wasn't up to the task.

One of the reasons Dixon dropped off the radar because Ganassi's Toyota engines were pants, when they finally got a hold of some Honda engines this season, they (and Penske, who also had Toyota engines previously) came from nowhere the previous seasons to become title contenders.

He seems to be doing quite good up to now.

Still not bad for a first attempt.

not bad seeing as mika was 3 secs of the pace in his test a few weeks back.

Marco has to get used to the breaks, track, gears he has never driven anything like this before

Sebas has done a good time too going by those times.

the 2006 indy 500 was so so unlucky for the andretti family beaten like that in the final straight. would be sad if marco never got a chance to win the race in the next 20 years or so, and would have to remember than painful defeat in the last few meters in his first attempt. he is a great racing talent. i wish him well.
