Well JB, Alonso and Raikkonen havent tested the bridgestones yet, so they are in the same situation, except that JB was sidelined because of his rib injury while FA and KR are off till '07 because of their contracts with Renault and McLaren...

Honda have 3 more than capable drivers to drive. And Jenson is a class driver, it wont take him anytime to adapt to the new rubber.

and chet, have you ever had a cracked rib? They are bloody painful. I sustained one while karting aswell (got tapped at the back, over corrected and went straight into a tyre wall at about 40-50mph and was flung onto my steering wheel)and it was one of the most annoyingly painful things i have had, hurts to breathe, hurts to move, everything!

Kimi and Jenson have been driving with Bridgestones before so they won't have too much difficulties to get used to new tyres but Alonso hasn't driven with Bridgestones so it can be more difficult for him ....but I think they will be ok and don't have any troubles .

If he is partying there is no way he has cracked a rib. I have tried it, and no matter what you do, laying down, sitting or standing, it hurts like a "#¤%!

It means the break is really samll and apparently a lot more painful but havent had one so can't speak from personal experiance

Hairline fractures also are harder to find out, I had a suspected hairline fracture on wrist from playing football and it took doctors quite a while to find out it was only badly sprained

without a silly wikipedia or google reply - and instead from a sourse of my own brother having brittle bones and broken over 45 bones since he was born just 18 years ago, a hairline fracture is simply a break that isnt as fully separated as a 'snapped' limb - a clean cut in half is a break, a hairline fracture is so small and only sometimes all the way cut could be compared to a large crack in a glass windshield.

they look like 'silver or black hairs' on xrays across the bone section.

The only fracture that I had was this "hairline" type, on my left shin... and damn, it hurts... It took 2 weeks to the butchers, i mean, doctors, discover that it was a broken bone... I couldn't walk, stand, not even rest the leg on a chair, because of the pain...

So if Button is really hurted (and I'm not saying that he is not) definately is not a broken bone...

Well I broke my wrist & arm in 5 places playing football (American Football).
Have also cracked ribs, and yes they do hurt a lot.

Actually, it's neither. It is a different sport entirely. Rugby developed out of Football (or Soccer, for some people), and American Football developed off from Rugby.

And anyway, American's refer to their sport purely as "Football".
