Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

And the engine isn't the be all and end all, mclaren were very competitive in 2005 with the merc engine which was considered about average by many. Toyota are supposed to have had a good engine for years yet have accomplished little.

True, but Mclarens engine was the best in years for them.

A good example of a bad engine is Hondas 2006 and it shows in their performance in some races.

Nevertheless, these times = 0 :P

I dont think that Honda had a bad engine this year... IMHO the problem was mainly the chassis and the lack of aero efficiency...

he will test after 1 january, OR if fernando alonso get permission to test for mclaren then kimi get permission to to test for ferrari, but that change is little i think.

Why would permission for Fernando automatically mean that Kimi has permission? That makes no sense.

Ron will have said that Kimi can't test soon (till after a certain date), meaning Alonso can't test either, because that would be unfair on Kimi if Ron let Alonso test his cars, but didn't let Kimi test the Ferrari.

but if Ron lets Alonso test, then that should automatically allow Kimi to test.

and as far as i can remember, (my memory is suffering failures because i'm getting old, ha!!) a prost was leading the austrian GP in that year before an failure :P
