dont want to sound like a nerd, but george lucas used F1 engine sounds for those pod bike things in the phantom menace

and yeah most celebs are there just because they got invited or it helps with the box ofice takings if they show their face.

Clive James, Jonathon Ross, Simon Cowell, Eddie Izzard and Kate Moss are all F1 fans. Mr. Cowell is actually just as knowledgeable about it as someone like James Allen, he's a really on-the-ball fan.

Rowan often competes at the Goodwood Revival.

did anyone see The Race on Sky with DC and Irvine? i didn't, but it's something to do with celebrities (i think) competing male vs female in a range of different vehicles, one team led by DC, the other by Irvine. I bet Irvine got the female team

No, DC got the girls.... Obviously decided Irv was too much of a risk

Irv is like that character on The Fast Show: "Me? the 3rd Duke of Wimblum? in a girls shower block? at 3am? oo er!"
