Also, rocker's got it right with the engines... it's still one engine per 2 weekends, but that rule simply doesn't apply to Fridays. Plus, the engine designs have been homologated now so there won't be any further development anyway.

I like the new engines rule, it will make friday practice more interesting.
The way it is Friday was pretty boring for people in the circuit. Now the drivers will do more laps as they don't need to save the engine.
For those who ar egoing to the first time in a race next year, if you go to friday practice usually the grandstands are with few people, so if you are able to try staying on different parts of it, like watch half an hour on the start of the straight, stay another half hour on the braking zone another time on the corner exit (if the ticket you have allow you to do it :P). In the recent years it wasn't possible to do it, 'cause there was too few action on the track. It's great to see the difference between driver styles, but you need a couple of laps to realize it, not just one like Alonso or Schumacher used to do this year.

about the engine, when say kimi goes to the 2nd race on his second engine, and it blows up on the friday, then he'll get a fresh one for the remainder of the weekend without penalty? surely everyone on their 2nd race with the same engine will deliberatly try to blow up the engine on the friday so they get a fresh one for saturday and sunday?
