This made me laugh they have very little faith in button lol

Button could pull in the crowd next season

Silverstone announced an interesting publicity programme this morning. The circuit has promised to give anyone purchasing an adult grandstand ticket, before the end of September, £50 ($95) back if Button takes the chequered flag at the 2007 British Grand Prix.

Silverstone ticket prices for an adult range from £179 to £349 over the 2007 race weekend which is now back in its traditional early July date.

“We’re delighted that the British Grand Prix has been moved back to its traditional July date,” stated Silverstone MD Richard Phillips. “The British public don’t like change and they look forward to the British Grand Prix being in July."

"It would be great if a British driver won. Jenson and David Coulthard always enjoy huge support at the British Grand Prix, but our offer to give fans £50 back if Jenson wins his home race will take that support to an entirely new level.”

still a ridiculous amount of money for not a lot of action and very restricted access. £50 would buy you a spectator pass at Le Mans for the entire week and a few saucisse baguettes ;)

yes but they know it aint gonna happen and if it does well there goes the track improvements.

But also shows if they can afford this y not lower the price of the tickets so fans can go

I am pretty sure that Button can win at Silverstone next year and that the Silverstone board will be pissed off after this ;)

I'm sure he can handle it, you really think it bothers him? Half the time it's him creating the hype and Honda creating the hype ;-)

£179 isnt that bad for 3 days entertainment, try being a football fan, thats when you get ripped off.

Arsenal are charging up to £90 a ticket for 90 mins entertainment how bad is that!

I read on the ITV site you could get the basic 3 day weekend enterance tickets at £99. Usually if you buy race tickets before February you can get the other days for free.

Also.... Madonna!!!! I wouldn't see Madonna if someone paid me to!
