F1 - Barrichello let pass Michael Schumacher Austria 2002

exactly. MS took the win in Austria that Rubens deserved, and at Indy Rubens took the win that MS deserved, so it's all equal.

I know it's a comment on the clip on YouTube but Rubens wasn't supposed to win the Indy GP, Ferrari and Michael cocked that one up, Austria was planned. I wouldn't call that all equal or fair or sporting etc.

Why don't you just rename the thread "The Michael Schumacher critisim and slag off thread"

I don't see any footage or talk of the only driver who has won 7 WDC in the business, it's sad really.

I think that shows the true level of opinion that WE as fans have for this champion.

I see pro and con, and that is what this thread should be about.

If we precluded participation on the grounds of being "con", then this would develop into a totally one-sided lollipop-sucking celebration thread. What is the point of discussion, if you have to swear in advance to agree to a certain conclusion and perception?

The only thing that is really deplorable, is that fan-boys and haters alike are so used to each other, that they see nothing else. If you are not pro, then you are a hater, and if you are not con, then you are a fan-boy. It's like this:

Why is it so hard to listen to another persons opinion that starkly differs from yours, accept it as that being the opinion of someone else, and thats fine except perhaps for factual flaws, and leave it at that? Why place the opinion of someone else so far above your own, that you become offended?

How come it is impossible to see a flaw and perserve greatness? How come it is so hard to see utter immorality, yet acknowledge the odd great achievement or show of mastery and skill? How does the small part shatter the sum total, to the point that neither can accept it?

If these people would get out of their trenches, and see what others are ACTUALLY saying, and where there positions REALLY are, and stopped treating this issue as it was the holy wars, then we would a get a picture, like this:

...and guess what folks? Thats reality as it looks and comes. Stop the black and white thinking and see the world in colours.

It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.

Well said Morbid.

i have also read some good points but yes seems to be the bad points that people will remember him by.

For me i remember being happy when he won his 1st gp. I however went of MS in 1993 even before the DH and JV stuff.

I see lots of people who are jealous to ms around here..

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Can we stop now HakkF1?

You are obviously a mclaren or anti ms fanboy, you may be posting videos (and why so many FFS!? and six posts in a row!?!?!) but they are all negative to this thread. Its like going into a Senna thread and posting all the bad things he did, you are gonna get people annoyed at you.... and please remember this is an ENGLISH speaking forum (unless in stated parts)

tbh vids are part of history.

and some have been posted of ms doing silverstone better than anyone.

I personally dont see the harm in the vids.

U have to admit what ms done to his brother to let rb pass was bloody dangerous their wheels could have locked and flipped in the air that was not good racing and ms had a car problem. Made good tv but was not on.

If your a fan of someone u have to take the good and the bad and except the bad points, i do with senna.

Or post some vids of ms doing some good stuff

I'm not the World's biggest Schumacher fan by any stretch of the imagination, but some of the bashing here is clutching at straws slightly.

OMFG, Stop it and lets forget this damn "cheat-and-team-order addicted" driver and look forward to 2007, when we will see the comeback of the good old F1 that we were used to watch, now with REALLY GOOD DRIVERS fighting on track, like Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen!!!

TAKE BOTH AWAY FROM THAT LIST!!

Button is too unlucky and not so great, Kimi is big-headed @#$%& talker (and not so special and goes on over-rews), and Alonso goes on too high rews all the time but still better than those 2..

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?
