OK, then. It was just a question...

I guess giving 10 Million to the Tsunami fund isn't helping anyone.

Well, marcl has already posted it for me, but hey what is 10 million compared to his fortune? Its like 10 cents for someone who has 1 million...

MS does so much for charity, but it's not often in the press, apart from when it's a huge monetary donation or something. he's an ambassador for Unicef, he organises, or lends his name to, football matches at various races (the Monaco one is the most famous, but they had one prior to the Hockenheim race also, for a heart charity or something).

i'm sure there are lots of things going on in the world using his name or his endorsement, it's just that he and Senna come from different backgrounds, so it means something different in MS' life than it did in Senna's, where he came from a country in poverty so made his institute to help all kids learn and have a better life through sport, whereas MS might only be able to help with public appearances and donations right now. maybe when he retires he might start his own institute or something? he already has his own kart track.

on the official tribute to Senna dvd, it has all about the Senna Foundation and who they help and how.

Just read this

A clash of opinion within the Ferrari ranks could scrap the team's plans to unveil its 2007 driver line-up at Monza in two weeks.

As Michael Schumacher told reporters in Istanbul that he is likely to take longer to make up his mind about whether or not to retire, the German Bild newspaper ran a story suggesting a behind-the-scenes rift.

It is reported that the 37-year-old veteran recently met with President Luca di Montezemolo with the news that the only team-mate he would accept in 2007 is incumbent Felipe Massa.

"I have still made no decision," Schumacher told reporters on Friday. "I have still 14 days and perhaps even longer.
"

Any delay is likely to be linked with Montezemolo's insistence that the time is right to think about the future of Ferrari by finally putting Kimi Raikkonen in a red car.

The twist in the tale, meanwhile, is that Team Principal and friend Jean Todt is understood to be siding with Schumacher, despite Montezemolo's contrary view

So is ms scared of Kimi i would say yes

if it's is true, then i am disappointed with MS.

as his swansong he should accept the challenge of Kimi.

he's had enough years of having poodle teammates, for his last season or 2 he should race on equal terms with the strongest guy in the car beside him.

and despite what Kimi says about not caring who his teammate is (wherever he ends up), i'm sure he would love to be alongside MS.

Well I hope it's made up,

The best way to measure drivers is to have the same equipment MS & kimi in the same car that will be a season to remember.

If MS does retire or kimi loses the ferarri drive next year MS WILL lose face.

Jenson, Jenson, he's our man,
If he can't win it,
Someone else........er can?

alot of people up and down the pit lane seem to think the same as alot of other people.

MS will quit at the end of the year after 2 poor gps mistake wise at driving on the limit.

Monza will be interesting not just the race but what ferrari are going to do. They have to either say yes or no about kimi as mclaren need to know as well and that according to stories is their deadline.

I have a funny feeling ms will say he is staying but could change his mind at the end of the year. None of this is fair on kimi or massa mclaren or ferrari. MS must know what he is going to do by now

or he genuinely might not have made his mind up yet?

i'm sure one day he thinks he's on the side of staying, but then the bad sides of that come to the front of his mind. then another day he thinks he wants to retire, but then the bad points of that come to his mind. it's a hard decision and he could very well regret it if he retires once the season starts next year.

I'd say he thought the championship situation would have been a bit clearer in terms of he would have been closer to alonso with better machenery. Its obvious that he wants to go out on a high so winning the championship this year would have been perfect. Personally i think he doesn't know 100% what to do. The problem ferrari have is if he retiers next year then the two best replacements kimi and alonso would be tied up to water tight contracts leaving ferrari with two midfield drivers. Finally it looks like ferrari are doing whats best for them and not schumacher
