Yes, its nice, I like both LS and NT livery but I prefer the racing revolution livery (the non tobacco version)

It may be a fag packet on wheels but the way in which the livery layed out is nice.

I can appreciate it because I am not a tw*t who will see it and go out a buy a packet of lucky strike, so in that sence Honda have failed (again??) :P

But then, as said in the SA thread, a car can look so much better not being dictated by sponsers, Honda have just made it look nice using what they've got.

it HAS NO livery! it's just a plain white car with as many LS logos on it as possible, with a couple of Honda logos to remind us it's a Honda and not Team Lucky Death Strike.

I agree with Zeppelin, but apparently they had a contract with BAT meaning they couldn't change the livery in a big way (or at all!).

hopefully when the deal ends, they can do something different to break away from the BAR/BAT image and actually become Honda properly. I had high hopes for a good new livery for them this season but it wasn't to be.

Look at the 2003/2004 BAR liveries, they looked so much better, maybe they could learn a few things from their past.

of course nothing is randomly placed, but there is a imit to how may times yuo need to see LS from 1 angle of the car. magine if you could only see one side of it if it was driving past you for example, you would see Luckies on the frontwing endplates, the small one on the little wing in front of the sidepod, the huge one on the sidepod, the small one on the side of the air intake, the angled one on the engine cover above Honda, and finally one on the endplate of the rearwing (correct me if i missed one).

do we really need to see it 6 times in one shot, and that's only at a side-on angle?!

one big one on the sidepod is enough, we get the message they want us to smoke LS.

mind you ferrari is just as bad.

You are judging it in a particular shot, you need to see it in other positions, or meh in a situation where a crazy driver like Monty destroys Button's Honda, like the US GP :P

I cant see anything wrong with Honda livery, its lovely though I never smoke anything

Thing is muks... Honda have to abide to what BAT pay them

Just say BAT have paid for 90Million Euros for space on the car, Honda have to give them the 90million worth.

But of course you know that :P

Which brings me on to the next thing... Its quite clear.. Honda lack sponsers willing to pay them enough money for them to display a good size sticker on!!

Renault on the other hand have telifonica and elf with decent places.

Mclaren have siemens and Emerates.

Honda have the one big sponser and loads of litte ones.

yeah Chet i understand they have to get their moneys worth, but god damn, that's a lot of coverage! more people aren't gonna smoke more LS if they have 25 instead of 10 logos, are they?

if someone sees the logo once, the brand is in their mind, you don't need 20+ to convince them to smoke that brand.

if you smoked and saw 5 logos on the car, as a fan of Honda, you might try them out. seeing 25 on the car won't influence you more than you already were by seeing only 5, will it?

Actually its something to do with publicity... chet made a right point related to how much they pay honda to sponsor, but there are other variants... the more the merrier, if you understand, the more the logos, more easily they'll fix it in mind. You can find another example watching football on TV, when I went to watch my favourite team (Vasco) play against Flamengo for the Brazilian cup finals, a lot of TV commercials were repeated before the game, in the halftime and after the game. It also happens with other programs.

And yes I'm graduated in marketing ;P

i know, but there should be some rule that you can't put the same logo more than 2 or 3 times in 1 view of the car, regardless of how much they pay you.
