Reminds me of when Hill tried to get out of Jordan in '99 mid-season, what a shame but at the same time a good oportunity for PDLR.

Too bad...but I wish him good luck for his new Carreer

And well good luck to De La Rosa too, although I´d say Paffet would be the better option for the second seat

It's a shame but I don't think de La Rosa should get the drive. It should go to Gary Paffet. Or alternate between Paffett and Hamilton.

I'm not saying that he is the best driver but he is one of the "better/top" drivers. He deserves to be in F1 but to be honest I used to be a big fan of F1 but its so boring these days if I miss a race I just read the race reports the next day to see what "did'nt" happen!!! I can understand why he would want to go else where where the man is more important then the machine.

I think that this just proves that F1 needs to change as it would not suprise me if other drivers start thinking about going raceing instead of just drives highly technical cars round a ciruit for an afternoon!!

Good luck to him!

WOW!! Didn't see that one coming!

If a driver has lost the motivation to be in F1, then of course it's the right decision to get out ASAP... but I didn't think he'd lost interest completely just yet.

Best of luck to him. IMHO F1 ruined his driving style. He will do well in NASCAR, where you can bully the car a lot more and it will won't respond by spinning.

Kimi will leave Mclaren and go to Ferrari. I think Pedro will do very well with MP4-21 because it's like he said - he knows the car better than anyone else.next year McLaren will take either Paffet,Hamilton or De La Rosa to drive alongside Alonso

I really like Pedro, good for him. I hope he can produce more of the same he did at Bahrain last year.

I still don't believe that Kimi is going to Ferrari. All of the stories are just rumours, nothing official has been said.
