Monaco 1992? But Suzuka 1988 (I have the full race video in my computer) is @#$%& awesome. At the start Senna stalled his car and was engulfed by the field. Fortunately the start line is on a hill and as the car rolled forward Ayrton was able to bump-start the engine and get going but by then he was down in 14th place and Prost was leading. In order to take the title, Senna needed to win and so he set off to make up for lost ground. It was an impressive drive. Senna was second on lap 28 and he took the lead and went on to win the race and the World Championship.

Other drivers in Senna's situation at the start of the race would give up and have lost the title. Its in moments like these when we see if a driver has what it takes to be a world champion.

But his defensive stances against Mansell at Monaca are just pure brilliance. Williams had a car that was about a second quicker than the McLaren and any other driver would've ended up making a wrong move at some point and Mansell would've won the race. I'm not saying that Suzuka 1988 was bad though...it was also brilliant. But I've seen more impressive drives at Suzuka ;)

And Interlagos 1993 overtaking maneuvre over Damon Hill is on youtube too, I saw it yesterday, amazing, it was like Pele dribbling past the defenders, senna faked a move to the left, Hill moved to the left to block him, and in that moment Senna went to the right side to take the corner and the lead. When I remember of Senna, this move is always the first thing that come up in my mind :P

The Williams was about a second faster than the Mclaren anyway and with fresh tyres more like two. The only drive that matches Senna's drive in Suzuka is Kimi's win last year imo, both were utterly brilliant.

Yep, except Kimi started farther back...;) But they were both great drives. But in both cases, both drivers had the best cars on the grid, and that's not what happened at Monza 1992.

By running Montoya off the track. It was his little extra swing to the right on the exit of the corner to force Montoya off the road completeley, or will you claim his car oversteered On that logic Sato won the battle at Suzuka 05 against Trulli.

Schumacher starts off by saying he saw him and by the end of the story he claims not to have seen him. Yea, innocent people go and contradict themselves while telling/coming up with stories

[video.google.co.uk] - Not F1 but meh, some great close racing and two different styles of Senna and Prost.

This shows the Senna who cared so much for his fellow drivers. He helped Alex Zanardi in the same way when he had his terrible crash at Eau Rouge in '93.
