Klien must have blocked him earlier so he re-paid him.

sheds light on his real character though doesn't it? (well we know he gets annoyed with backmarkers with all his hand gestures, but this is a new low)

that should have been a fine that is far more dangerous than what jpm done last year in monaco and could have caused a 3 car pile up how did he get away with it

i love how alonso is slowly becoming public enemy #1 on these boards just like schuie was when he dominated.
every single thing he does is dodgy or he is an idiot for his celebrations e.t.c. lighten up!

What the?

It's one of the lamest brake-tests ever, there was hardly any speed difference between the cars.

Exactly Mini and TripleM, i like a driver with a bit of fire in his belly and no he wouldn't have caused a pile up because that was a slow part of the track and there was not much speed difference between them there. Nigel Mansell used to do that when he got blocked in qualyfying and no-one gave him a hard time.

All the people talking about Alonso being reliant on the TC are a bit close minded.

a) He's probably using it because it's there, it enables him to adobt an agressive setup and be fast with it.

b) He did drive in F1 before TC was introduced (including one wet GP) and I have no recollection of him spinning the car in this period. So, obviously, he isn't reliant on it to drive fast.

True, Schumi like his "toys" too but he drove just as quick when he didn't have them.

Er traction control has been around for ages, they tried to ban it in 94 but were unsuccessful cos benneton and ferrari still used it, in the large part without anything being done. After that, they just allowed it as they realised they couldn't really stop teams using it cos of the complicated electronics in f1.

wasn't it officially banned, and then brought back in at Barcelona 2001?

tbh I dont give a @#$%& what alonso does as long as he stays qiuck.

But that Klien thing was pathetic.

Its something you would not see from Kimi, and Micheal.

Lol! He's a good boy now though.

I'm a ferrari fan, but I'm not totally sure what MS would do now in a situation like in 1994 or 1997. I'm afraid he would still try everything to win the championship for any price needed (including raming his opponents). He's happy only if he wins. You can see that everytime in press conference when he's 2nd or 3rd he has that loooong face.

Yer, but just cos it was illegal, doesn't mean people weren't using it ;)

Benetton were "unofficially" the only one using it on the B194 in 1994. It wasnt till 2000/2001 people started using the pitlane speed limiter as a form of traction control off the start. The FIA seeking continuity decided to allow TC back as work arounds such as this example were starting to appear.

From 1995 to 2000 people were not using Traction Control officially or unofficially.
