guys.. don't you see it.. ferrari is back and in modern f1 it is the full package that counts (team-driver and tires).

i was there the whole weekend and so with 120 000 other crazy fans i saw ms winning in front of alonso.

alonso will not sleep this night because schumi is back!

Yes i agree Chet, Schumi seems more focused and less agressive than 10 years ago and his legendary fitness is still there. Clearly he still loves driving and winning so i very much doubt that he'll retire at the end of this year.

well I think there is a chance that he can retire if he will win his 8th title.

u can see his style really suits the v8 cars every corner he leans on the car more than the others. i would say he is far more agressive now he is ringing every 10th out the car something he did not have to do when he was wining titles apart from 2000.

I think he is driving better than ever and using his head better than ever, imola prooved this y drive flat out when u dont have to.

These cars are helping aggresive drivers look at alonso, jv esp jv he is showing nick h up.

I think he will carry on as long as he enjoys it and can still do it. maybe 2 more years.

Yup

Before he was dare i say it, careless. He made stupid decisions i.e. Jerez 97 ;)

But now he seems more 'on it'

Imo he is in his Prime, and has been since start of 2004.

And his fitness, no doubt, no-one is fitter than him (Im not gay ;)), Maybe Mark Webber, or JB, they seem to have a v.good fitness level :)

Anyone who makes excuses for their favourite driver not winning a Gradn Prix, when he has clearly been beaten, aren't true fans TBH, they're just fanboys.

he lost 1.2 seconds on 1 lap alone cos he made a mistake, without it he might have cleared FA at the 1st stop.

and it IS fair if they use Massa as a monkey-boy, he knows the ferrari history (Irvine, Rubens) so if he didn't want to play 2nd fiddle, he didn't have to sign the contract.

Alonso even complained that renault should do that kind of thing, because he is clearly no.1 so they should use Fisi to do the donkey-work on friday to give him the best opportunity for the saturday and sunday.

and @ Vesuvius, yes you are right, it's the whole package that is needed. but what i don't like is when FA or Kimi win a race, everybody praises them (the actual driver) for being the best and making them win the race, but if MS wins the race, all we hear is "well, he had the best car/package, so of course he won".

why can't everybody judge all the winners the same way, it was either the car that won the race, or the driver that won the race, or a combination of both?

that is what i hate, some people refuse to give MS the credit he deserves, yet fall over themselves praising Kimi and Alonso when they win, when surely they won because their car was also the best on the day.

it's as if MS drives a top-notch ferrari, while everyone else drives a 5 year old minardi, so if any of them win, they deserve lots of praise fpr dragging a rubbish car up the field, but if MS wins, then only the car gets praise.

I just wanna say how crappy and actually hilariously annoying and bad the intro music for ITV is, this was the first weekend I've heard it and I DON'T think
I'll be watching the pre-race buildup again because it has started to suck big time :(

It's a shame we can't see someone who hasn't won the championship battling for the crown.

I really don't give much of a sh*t between Alonso or Schumacher as they have both had their day(s). I guess thats what makes them so good then......

LOL! Why can't ITV show animated driver sacrifices in their pre-race show? ;)

remember after Imola, Ron Dennis said they consider themselves to be Renault's main competition, and they can "easily beat Ferrari" (yes, that was a direct quote of Ron).

what happened then Ron? are you still going to insist you are the main competition? I'm not gloating, as I would love to see Kimi and JPM fight at the front with MS and Alonso, but I hate his lack of humility and humbleness, especially when Ferrari win a race.

jpm never even looked like scoring points people coming from the back of the grid were faster than him.

Mclaren need to start higher up but lap 10 they are already to far behind.
