Just a little question:
Was former Toleman F1 driver Johnny Cecotto a professional motor bike racer before he turned to cars? I think I have something like that in the back of my head but I am not sure.
Does anybody know?

I won't pretend I knew the answer, but a quick look here [www.grandprix.com] tells me that indeed he was a motorbike racer before his F1 career! Quite a successful one at that!

He was the youngest champion at the time in the 350cc class, the youngest winner of the Daytona 200 and won the F750 title in 1978

Not being a bike fan this means sweet FA to me but it's what the Grand Prix Who's Who says lol
