I think that Honda can be ruled out of wins for now - JB did a great job in qualifying, but as often happens, expectations got too high for the race.

I thought Rubens raced better than his place might have suggested - he was providing feedback to the team throughout, and also finished seventh in the end - a good race for him. I see that slowly, he is getting the car, which was designed for Jenson, to come his way.

I didn't expect him to adapt so slowly, but at the same time he is getting his head down and working hard. Looking forward to a good European season for RB.

yeah it does look like Massa tapped Kliens right-rear coner, spinning him, which then pushed Massa into Rosbergs car:

good effort from Klien to continue from that.

what a cheek of ross brawn to laugh at jpm then when schumi crashed i bet ron dennis was smirking too. made him look like a bit of a child.

and martin was saying that mclaren talk a good game before the race but dont always deliver as today. when kimi cleared jb i was fully expecting him to come right up alonso although i beleive he had a bit missing from his car.

Don't worry Dave, Jenson will have other opportunities not to win...

I dont think Ross was laughing because it was JPM, just because it was so daft. And hes right in that case, it was totally daft. i know i laughed!

you can't not laugh at something just in case something might happen to you or one of your drivers, if it is genuinely funny, can you?

if you see someone fall over, and they are not hurt, you might laugh. you can't think to yourself "i won't laugh at this, because sometime in the future, i may also fall over, and i don't want people to laugh at me."

i bet half the pitlane was laughing at JPM when he span, the director just chose to show Ross. anyway, if it was morally wrong for Ross to laugh, he got his comeuppance (spelling?) cos both his cars crashed.

and i've looked at loads of pics from the race, and especially tried to find pics of Kimi, and didn't find any of any part of his front wing missing. it must have happened and then he pitted straight away, he didn't do the whole race up to that point with damage.

and nevermind McLaren talking a big game, what about Honda?

"His first set of tires were clearly done explaining the massive lack of pace"

Schumacher was the fastest behind Alonso some laps before his stop though.. I don't think the tyres were done , I just think he wasn't very concentrated , making many mistakes and had a lot of fuel.

when they get the engine up to speed they will improve i mean dc even with the same engine could not get close to speed.

ms was over driving the car trying to go faster than it wanted to go.

but they are no better than last year the st race was a result of testing there and they went well there last year as well. so expect them to go well in imola and hungry lol. They need to do a lot of work to become winners again. tbh renault have a large advantage anyway

Actually I was more concerned about Nick's 2nd-4th in a corner! I like Nick as he's so underrated and that BMW is showing some to be quite good. As for JB - he's British and I'll support him (and DC) for that reason alone.

I was also chuffed that Alonso won and I hope he can win this years drivers championship. Don't really care about Kimi though.

Kimi said in press conference that he flatspotted his tyre while overtaking Button, and that after few laps something broke in the front wing because of vibration. If you followed the laptimes, you could see that Kimi had almost closed the gap to Alonso, it was only 2 seconds, but then suddently Kimi was 2 secs slower on one lap, and then the gap started to get bigger.
