its all pre rendered stuff and i think the sound is dubbed in too. having said that, the final ingame result should still be quite impressive compared to what we're used to on current consoles

Haha! I had to laught.. That "pre race" stuff doesnt have anything to do with game itself it wont look anything like that.

And car models are more worse than original ones of GP4 and F1c. And I can say say textures are wery low res. Those highly edited hires "screenshots" did show it wery well :S

Quality was pretty good. Stock F1C cars were done by Ralph Hummerich and Co, and at the time were as good as you got for any game. So what was wrong with them?

Really? The same guy that makes the mod for F1C used to work for EA? Didn't know that..

The same guy yeah. He did the car textures for F1c (i forget the modelers name). I dont belive he was paid though :\

Ivo Franic. And as far as I know they came away from the deal fairly well off... didn't get a massive amount which is why most of the shapes are based off one generic mesh but still :p

as for that ps3 thing - it's crap. pure and simple. all pre rendered, dubbed sounds, @#$%& models, @#$%& textures... nothing good to say about it at all.

now if the dfp worked on PS3 and someone made a proper sim :drools:
