2006 Mclaren livery unveiled

OMG... before i add my opinion, the orange was never gonna stay with Vodafone branding next year!

Its terrible! What a disaster, its the worst thing ive ever seen!! and does GP4 support mirror/chrome?

Freaking cool! Hmmm well except FIA didnt allow BAR to use crome livery so why McLaren can use it.. :S

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

the car would look OK if they changed the wings color (the red looks awful)

Really? When did BAR wanna use Chrome and why did the FIA not allow it... and if thats true, why the hell are mclaren allowed?

gp4 cant do chrome that well....how many chrome helmets have looked more like a matte grey due to the gp4 engine.

All they need to do now is put arnie in the car and the PR would be complete, terminator image and all...

Saying that though, it is different and i wont make any proper opinions on it until i see it on the track with the other cars.

EDIT : I've just had a thought...what on earth are they going to do for the racesuits now?! Although it would be rather amusing to see the portly Juan Pablo strolling down the pitlane in tight chrome overalls.

On their website, they say, they use hich tech to achieve this chromed style. So i guess it wont blind anyone, and it wont hurt their rivals or anything like that...Thiking on that, tha's a great strategy, blind the enemy, or hide the blown engines....:|

I get chrome in GP3 but its not intentional and chrome tyres look really silly.
There was a BAR saga when they wanted to run one car in Lucky Stripe red/white and the other in 555 blue/gold. I do have a flash of a memory about chrome being disallowed because of dangerous reflections in drivers eyes.

Well the orange was never going to stay because for about the 1 millionth time THE ORANGE WAS A TESTING LIVERY.

I might have a reputation of disliking any livery that has been shown so far (except the williams) ....[at least I hope i have a reputation already]

But DAMN ....I love it...

You gotta give credits just for the chrome, either ron was drunk when he gave his ok or the painters where smoking weed when they were mixung the colours, but as i mentioned before I L O V E it...

you can get chrome by using dynamic lighting
