In those picutres, it looks as if the Boeing 747 is gaining on the F1 car!
BTW, how many old Arrows chassis do they have?? Sato is bound to completely destroy \
at least one or two.

nice comparison there Dave.

that Arrows with Frentzen testing was the pre-season testing livery, but the shape has not changed at all between pre-2002 season and the end of the season, all the way till now. did they do no development at all during 2002?

and did they do the full '02 season or did they pull out half way through, i can't remember, but i do remember they were playing games in qualifying by doing 2 fast/normal speed sectors, then slowing down and pulling in to the pits at Magny Cours.

They were gone by Silverstone in 2002 when Mr Walkinshaw ran out of money to pay Cosworth and Cosworth refused to supply the devices required to start the engines. They eventually got that sorted and got into the race, then didnt appear at the next one.

the only real difference in the 2 cars currently is the rear wing elements which would have been modified by Arrows later in the 2002 season anyway

they will need to change the front and rear wing, the engine box and diffuser.

The way the car is at the mo it will not be able to race, maybe the changes will be seen next week

Why do teams often use intermediates at a shakedown? Even when it's dry?

wow.

so the current car according to 2006 regulations is illegal on 6 counts, just from looking at those pics. 1) Front wing height 2) Engine cover size 3) Diffuser height 4) Rear wing endplate size 5) Rear wing location 6) Rear wing upper elements (should be just the main place and one flap, currently has two flaps as per 2002).

so, the extensive mods really was just a splash of white paint. this is beyond a joke!

the only difference between the two cars really is the removal of the additional plane on the rear wing as dave says - but that's merely a setup thing, unscrewing 6 or so screws! :P
