Narain Karthikeyan has joined Williams as a test driver, the team confirmed ahead of the launch of its 2006 car this morning.

The presentation will be at their factory in Grove.

Well I´m somehow happy that Karthikeyan got the seat... He isn´t as untalented as some might have thought (including myself) and I hope he will get a raceseat again in the future

i knew about it all the while.... well but dont know how it will help him being driver4, but still something is better then nothing.

Since Karthikeyan have more experience than Rosberg I guess that it's a good move.

hehe, he is not slow but I think williams could have chosen better drivers!

I was talking about the test pilot role... for sure Karthikeyan knows more about the Bridgestone tyres than all the other three pilots together... ;)

Karren had a fall out with Kolles at San Marino, and thus, it put him on the backfall with the team for the rest of the season.
