from far the car looks the same as the f2004 but there are some major morks on the lower section of the side pod and the exhaust from the radiators. that section of the Chimney is real confusing from the pictures. need to see it closer. the rest is the same with the new front wing.
i was hoping that they would add some black to it like the old ferrari's like up to 95 but they should have changed something

Looks somehow bulky and less "modern" than the new McLaren, however the nose is way more beautiful (which isn't much of a miracle, to be honest). The "5" looks sexy - and that's not meant to be sarcasm, I really like the font they used for it. Very sexy indeed.

is it just me or is that car on the track different to the one posted on the 1st page? The one on the track seems to have more black color at the back

its only a European tobacco ban, so they can run Marlboro in the non-Europe races for '06 I think, until the worldwide ban comes in.

@ Anze, it looks the same to me.

@ Chet, for the first pic, MS could be talking to a midget ('small person' or 'vertically challenged' for the PC brigade) standing between the nosecone and the tyre.

quick question.

"The rules outline global constraints but do allow a lot of space for projectual experimentation," continued Martinelli. "The 90° angle was our choice as was settling on the minimum weight for the non-moving parts. The real challenge, however, was lightening the weight of the moving components."

does that mean ferrari chose how the v8's should be made or am i misunderstanding?

I was hoping there would be black instead of white for either wing :(

@ Marc, i think he's only talking about their own engine, not everybodys engines.

they had to decide how heavy their own engine would be without the moving parts, then tried to lighten the moving parts (i think).

thanks for thoe comical pics Muks. The photographer really captured some amusing moments there it looks like...

As for the car, just noticed how bulky the back end looks compared to previous years. Lovely front end though...
