the just made small changes for them unlike in the past when the teams got what they were given.

rbr will also have their own set of ferrari personel to help with the engine during the year, they will also get development parts a few races after ferrari.

this is more like a partnership than just an engine deal

The personnel thing is noting new, Sauber and even Prost had them also. As for updates yes few races after its 4 races after to be exact just like Sauber

I don't believe that Ferrari will have exactly the same spec engines for RBR as themselves, Ferrari will keep the latest devs for themselves. Nice car though, love those tiny side pods!

Dont think we'll see any of Newey's influence on the car till atleast July-August. Just like it took Gascoigne around that long to have any effect in toyota when he joined. Dont really expect them to be challenging any of the big teams till 2007. Theyre just pulling a BAR pre-1999 act here ;)

newey now joins rbr next week he will not even see the mp4/21 turn a wheel. Big boost for rbr as he could make the car better before the start of the season

Red Bull's newly signed top designer Adrian Newey is going to start earlier than expected at the team. Instead of starting around the end of February Newey will begin work for Red Bull as early as next week being Red Bull's chief technical officer.

Newey left McLaren after eight years, producing championship-winning cars in the mid-nineties.

In November 2005 Red Bull announced the signing of Newey. It was a big surprise for the Formula 1 paddock, and it was said Newey wouldn't start until the end of February.
