Pity I think, another team would have been good.

Hmm but only by about 20 mins and your thread doesn't mention the Super Aguri team specifically.

"The most noticeable thing is that Super Aguri Racing - is not included - though no official reason has been given.

The Japanese team had claimed that it would participate in the 2006 Championship, however there was doubt as to whose chassis the team would use. The fact that it is not on the entry list appears to indicate that an acceptable solution could not be found."

I would like to see Suoper Aguri next season. The more car we have better it is.

It would be two (or three) more cars on the practice. Great when you are on the track.

a shame, but probably for the best. not really much point having an F1 car embarrassingly slow the safety car has to be slowed down to make sure it's slower than them...

They were gonna use the Arrows A23 which was a Mid field car in it's prime

Today i think a GP2 machine would beat it

Better for them to start 2007 spend this year testing like crazy

A real shame. I would have loved to have seen a thicker field.

Is it true that only 24 cars are allowed to compete in a race?

I would have liked to have seen another team. But its best that we dont have any cars seconds off the pace.

When they failed miserably, Red Bull could have bought them
and re-named them "Super Lucky Mega Taste Drink Fortune Team". Then all their
cool drivers could have race seats!

apparently they are gonna try to re-apply for next year.

They will have to pay $48m dollars just to re-apply, that doesnt even confirm them a place, they are chucking some serious money at this aint they!!??

Makes you wonder how commited Honda are to BAR now? Sorry, 'Lucky Strike Honda Racing incorporated copyright blah blah blah F1 team '

Certainly is, they didn't even pay the first entry bond (which is the $48 million you state) which is one of the numerous reasons the application was rejected.

I'd heard that they had paid it back in October.

In greek Super Aguri translates to "Super Cucumber".
I would have supported them if they were called Super Cucumber F1
