FIA ban pitwall celebrations!

Just read in F1Racing mag that the fia have banned mechanics climbing the pitwall to celebrate victories.

Now, i can understand that it may be seen as dangerous but as a human being, i enjoy seeing human emotion. Formula One is turning into a faceless, sedate show.

Max is too busy making the cars look horrible to remeber that sport should have a human side.

Boo to you Max Mosely!

I saw that too. I guess it is in the interest of safety but it is a tad OTT. I love seeing thoughs guys celebrate as well. It will be missed.

;) hahahaha! Maybe you're right, marcl! Anyway that's sad because we always have celebration at the end of the race, when the driver is coming close to the checkered flag and both him and his team are happy for winning the race, right?

Well, let's see how it's gonna be... I agree with you guys, looks like they're making the sport lose a very important part of the show...

Oh, almost forgot, you said it perfectly, Peat! My goodness! What are they planning with that ridiculous kind of rear wing?

See ya!

hmm..im guessin they ran a simulation on GP4 and realised thats how races should end. with cars just slowing down.and driving back to the pits in an orderly fashion

If thats the case then they would have to hire a pixelated man to stand on the track and wave the flag!

ehi! As Max is on the way, why not to ban the drivers to put off the hands from the steering wheel after a victory? :(

yeah, now, exactly 15 and a half minutes before the race starts, all drivers have a 5 second window to get in the car, everyone must leave the grid 10 seconds before this, then all drivers must have both hands on steering wheel from this point until they get out of the car 6 hours later (they now must wait in the car to be weight, the podium ceremony will now take place with the drivers in the cars). Anyone who goes off the racing line other than to overtake will receive a $100,000 fine, any sort of waving is banned, even on celebration.

if a car stops it must pull over to the side of the road and be parked parallel to the wall and track, with a margin for error of 0.1 degrees, any more results in a fine.

smiling is banned. even in photos.

creases in overalls are a thing of the past, in fact, overalls are completely banned for drivers, who must now go out in tuxedos.

bored now.
