2006 season

i am just thinking if we made a Sticky subject about the 2006 season
with the drivers lineup and team and tires and calender every think
and not allow anyone to reply on just a table of what is going on for the next
season i thing it will be great anyone can come and see what is going on
for the next season

i think 2006 will be a let down due to the v8 engines probably until mid season the cars will seem slow and maybe break down alot.

I think most of the cars wont have broblems with ther engimes because most of the teams have already tested their engines long time. All them havent tested engines in car yet but that is only their broblem..

It's a good idea. But maybe what really needs to do is a webpage that someone can update and maintain, where the bandwagon flamewaring n00bs can't disrupt it.

No, talking seriously for a moment it's a lovely idea but maybe it is more practicle to do it on a webpage. Someone with far too much time on thier hands could do it..(dam that's talking about myself again..). Besides The we've got about 5 months of the off season to go yet, it could be quite drawn out risking the thread dropping into the murky depths of nothingness and flamewar.

A closed sticky that the mods can edit would be a great idea, but wait a while, the '05 season JUST finished!

@IWE: actually Mclaren have definitely tested their v8 in car (not 2006 but MP4-20B) at the silverstone test days in september. 5-6 seconds a lap slower with time they shud get better

I know they and few other teams have tested their new engines but if that what Briatore said is true Renault havent tested v8 engines on track and wont test before first test of their 2006 car.

but hey, V8's are more fun for spectators I think.....

I went to spa... minardi is about 4-5sec/lap slower than the rest, and I didnt see the differences.... also, if a car passes at 340km/h or 330...... who will see it? yeah, on the tv if you see a speed metre on your screen!

I think the V8's will rock man!!!
