Yeah, I don't think Ralf would be very impressed.

i agree.

ralf is now 12 points behind jpm - thats now too much and i cant see him clawing that back with only 4 races left

if williams want the WC, then i feel they should now get ralf to support JPM

How would Williams achieve this?

team orders dont help the WCC, only WDC

Williams and Mcaren always said only after one driver cant win. If they replace ralf at Hungary hes close to not being able to win it if JPM wins i think

Would Ralf really do anything to help someone he is not particularly fond of (Montoya) to help that person beat his own brother, in whatever shape or form that help may be?

that sthe problem - i cant see ralf helping

but if williams are in a 1 2 position in the closing stages of hungary and ralf was leading jpm, then i can see williams ordering ralf to let jpm thru

and i would not like to ralf if he disobayed.

head is very very strict!! u dont want to mess with him

BMW is very interested in keeping Ralf in his seat. Or if not him, at least a german driver. BMW pretty much tells Williams what the story of the morning glory is all about, when it comes to Ralf. Remember all the strange mutters from BMW, about BMW making their own team, or finding another partner, that suddenly popped up, right after Frank, rightly, sent a stern letter to Ralf about upping his performance?

If Ralf is smart, he will follow the tune from BMW. On the other hand, much as I really would like to see JPM clinch the title, I hope Ralf flatly refuses faul team tactics. I can understand letting a faster driver through without taking him off the track (when it is just a matter of time anyway before he goes by), I can understand defending your position with extra zeal if your teammate is in front and outpacing you anyway. But handing over well earned positions..? Nah, we've had enough of that.

I think it would be so much sweeter, and so much better for Williams as a team, if they the showed the sport how it is, when you earn the WDC fair and square with your racecraft.

Ralf won't. On his homepage he writes it doesn't matter to him who will win the championship, as long as it is a Schumacher. He will rather support his brother.

problem for ralf, is it is not BMW disicsion to keep him at williams, it is franks and patricks decision

and if ralf disobays an order from head or williams, and the consequences are that michael wins the WC, then he ould be out off there like a shot

we all know how williams does not use a drivers staure or win rate as a tool for keeping him in his team

he is not scared to let a driver go!

frank williams moto, is that there are always other drivers out there far cheaper, and able to do the same job

with that attitude he needs releasing from his contract

can you imagine if ralf cost JPM the title because of this attitude?

Maybe that shows he is not really that clever. Otherwise he wouldn't have said that without even haveing signed a new contract with Williams.
