those drivers realy had a big fall because the car behavior changed after the traction control
Mika Hakkinen: he outqualified DC in all the races in 2001 to spain(even in spain he didn't use TC in qualifing)and the races after DC started outqualifing him
Pedro DelaRosa: he was the black hosre in 2000 , he outqualified J Versttapen by 0,7 in most qualifing, but in 2001 and 2002 he was crap
Alex Yoong: TC or TC,the guy dosn't belong to F1 :)

Hakkinen was about as motivated as a carrot in 2001.

traction control doesnt make a squeak of difference in my book.

It can make the car 'easier' to drive but wont make you quick. the best drivers will use the TC to its best effect. Hakkinen didnt turn it off he would just turn it down in certrain places to cure mid/exit turn understeer. Juan Montoya also has a TC cut off button on his steering wheel(a bit like F1C).

TC changes the way engines are made. with TC they make the power delivery as instant as possible as there is no risk of wheel spin. If it was taken away, the engines would change to allow a much smoother delivery of power.

So, i dont think there is any arguments with TC, i dont like it but i dont hate it either. Either way it doesnt make a differnce to the racing.

Well the jaguar didn't have a crap engine, the Cosworth but the chassie was quite dire.....

I always thought the Arrows cars weren't insanely bad, just had lack of developments and not so good engines

to be honest, arrows chassis isn´t so bad... need developments only... but the engines... (remember asiatech??? hehehe)
jaguar chassis is crap and the engine needs a lot of developments...
anyone can explain me how stewart (competitive) became jaguar (non-competitive)?

Stewart became crap as Jag because Paul Stewart, who was a great team boss, was replaced by a series of faceless corporation suits and ex-race drivers, who were all clueless. Also, all the extra money went on frippery

iceman kimi, you are completly wrong, driving does change with TC
as in with out the TC, braking points changes because the exist of the corner is much more important than the entrance, because you must exist in as much as in a straight line as you can ,because accelerating while steering without TC is very hard, Mika was the master in this
