Yes, the driver can break an engine if he shifts too late. Last year, BAR discovered that Sato's driving style was the cause for his engine breaks.

But about Kimi, the problem can be McLaren (or Mercedes) are pushing his engines
beyond the limit because they need to win desperately.

Still someone believes that Fisichella is better than Fernando?

No they cant. It has been said countless times by countless drivers. There is a rev limiter which will stop the engine from over-revving

Alsonso is nothing special, he just has luck, a reliable and fast car and the full support of his big Daddy Flavio. If Kimi's car had been more reliable he would have pwned Alonso big time. If even a driver like Alonso can beat Fisichella it proves what I have been saying since I don't know when - Fischella is overrated.

Wait till Alonso makes a mistake. His car will suddenly start failing and become slower when he gets into Flav's bad books, then he'll be sacked.

Hey, the LUCK dont exist, all the this can happen for something wrong, Fernando won the title this year because he and his team works better, and Fernando Wins, because the other cant do the things correctly. So the " luck " dont exist.

On the note of Kimi breaking his engine - this was no engine failure but a hydraulic failure that made him first lose power steering and then botched his gear box.

f...king luck! the championship is over for me. i won't watch any race this season anymore. it's a shame for mclaren and mercedes that they can give the fastest man in the grid a working car. shame on mclaren mercedes which i fully support.

I think you are right..

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Well it's all over now:-(
Congratulations to Alonso for the championship, but its a shame the best driver and the fastest car to loose the title like this.
Better luck next year.

"Still someone believes that Fisichella is better than Fernando?"

I dunno,Fisichella was given quite a whack by Sato on the lap 1.

"Alsonso is nothing special"

yeah,he isn't finnish and driving for McLaren

"If Kimi's car had been more reliable he would have pwned Alonso big time."

because his car is faster

"If even a driver like Alonso can beat Fisichella it proves what I have been saying since I don't know when - Fischella is overrated."

yeah, knock the team mate a proven tactic w.r.t all the driver abilty discussions

"Hey, the LUCK dont exist, all the this can happen for something wrong, Fernando won the title this year because he and his team works better, and Fernando Wins, because the other cant do the things correctly. So the " luck " dont exist."

Yep,reminds me of a Jack Niclaus quote.

Well you may think he is right, but unfortunatly you are both wrong as it was not an engine failure, and even if it was it is Mercddes/McLarens fault for not having the software correctly configured as the rev limiters will stop you shifting too late and will not allow you to change down if the revs are wrong

MS was good i think considering his circumstances.. Ralf was good :D

alrite race.. regs let it down again :(

but a good move by JB but he should have done it earlier becasue he had better opputunities.

Ok this time it wasnt engine failure but usually.. But they take too much out from kimis engine!!

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?
