why everyone saying great lap by kimi?
as kimi laps go that final sector was horrible.

juan was even worse though.

my opinion

Kimi - if you dont win you lose the WDC....but surely top step of podium
Jenson - well done suprised you are there tbh but lighter than Renaults.
Alonso - Just keep it on the road and surely a podium because Flav wont let Fisi pass you.
Fisico - tough luck but 3rd should be on
Schumacher - either 5th/6th, but you are with everyone till 14th on grid .. light on fuel.
Webber - typical quick quali lap, amazingly light though
Heidfeld - Also light but solid lap
Sato - considering when you went out that was amazing pace.
Trulli - poor lap considering his usual quali pace but should be heavier than others
Klien - quick all weekend justified here.

Yeah Kimi was wild in the final sector but like Schumi he kept it on the road and fast too.

reckon barrichello was passed by a turtle on the back straight... ;)

horrifically slow.

the mclarens look to have some issues with the rear of the car, watch out for those in the race, especially as the tyres wear down. if it rains those cars will be dogs.

Kimi lap was great and that proves agression in the first corner, he was much more agressive than anyone else. Shame for Juan.

Montoya may be exciting but i am sure that the team would have liked to see him finish the lap.

As it stands he very likely gave away 2 points in the battle for the championship.

I see a Renault 1-2 and a double McLaren DNF with those new rear wings they've stuck on. Way too twitchy in those final 2 turns...

Because it was a great lap. So he went a little sideways twice. Not only was he still fastest, he was comfortably fastest, which just showed how stunning the rest of the lap was

shame on juan! it was sure that mclarens would get the front row, but he spoilde it for the sake of pole position. this was a pure mclaren weekend and we lost a 1-2. shame on juan again.

We still need to win tommorow, I hope both cars will be bulletproof reliable. I was a bit concerned about that grey smoke from JPMs car, which he had in braking for turn 2 and hairpin. I hope they will change the engine on his car.

The history can be like this:

Juan wins 6-8 positions in the start. Juan is 1.2-1.5 faster then all the cars ahead. If Juan passes 1 car per lap, and he is 0.5-1s faster than Fernando and Giancarlo... Can we get an 1-2? Maybe! :D Mclaren is too superior at this moment.
