When do mclaren release the new livery!

Can't find anything with Google Images Search, with the term McLaren Johnnie Walker. All I found was the same pic that was released by McLaren ages ago.

I knew someone would come good in the end. It is a very nice livery, and it would be nice if McLaren do go gold, but I can't quite see it happening. Like one of the current beliefs are saying, if the team clothing is anything to go by, then we could see an orange McLaren come Sunday.

And as for F1Crazy, Muks_C hit it right on the head - some people do have lives, and all it takes is a little patience, and you'll get what you are after in due time. A different WDC to Schumacher, for example. I've been praying for years, and now finally, it looks like my prayers are going to be answered. I just wish it was closer, if Kimi's car wasn't a clown car so often.

Surely if the Jonnie Walker sponsorship starts in Turkey, then West sponsor till then, in which case it would be the standard N/T car on Sunday

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

Well looking at pics from today's practice sessions, the cars are running in normal livery.

@ Montana_UK, the ban only comes in on sunday, so the cars can be tobacco liveried on friday and saturday, then on sunday they will have to be different.

Yeah, I know, but you would think that some teams may just ship the cars out already NT liveried, and not have to spend time changing the cars on Saturday. Makes it cheaper with all the gear being shipped over there in the first place.

Hang on - if the cars are locked up in parc ferme after Saturday Qualifying, how are they going to be altered?? Maybe they will be allowed, as long as they don't make any major changes to the cars.

even in Parc Ferme engineers are allowed to check over certain parts of the car and top up fluids (apart from fuel) under supervision of FIA Supervisors. its only a phrase that they are "locked away in Parc Ferme".

and as Pooky will tell you, McLaren have someone whose official job title is "Sticker Engineer" who applies all the logos and make sure they are perfect, so he goes to all the races applying and removing the logos as needed.

its not that much trouble for them.
