F1 Season 2004 Video

Great news!!! (I hope so)

I've created a video of the last F1 season (2004) and it is a review containg the highlights of each of the 18 races.
I have added some text and music, so that the atmosphere gets better (engine sound is audible in the background).
I have been working for about 2-3 months on this and it cost me some time but I think it was worth. I think that this is a nice and long (56 min!!!) review - and it is for free!!!

Unfortunately, YouSendIt.com only stores files for 25 downloads or 7 days. I already asked Leslie if he can host it but this files is to big for they already host a great amount of other stuff - for example all the great mods. If the video was liked perhaps somebody else could host it for it is quite annoying uploading 200 MB (4-5 hours) every week.

If someone is not sure if he wants to download a file sized 217 MB, I have uploaded the highlights of Monza (8,4 MB). This preview has got neither music nor text included - so it is just a preview.

You're right It was probably downloaded more than 25 times

that's great, i am trying for 2004 highlights for almost 6 months but i got failed.

u could use bittorrent to transfer it
that way everyone shares what they have already and makes the download faster

Yes, creating a torrent would be a good idea.

Not to be a spoilsport, but posting copyrighted material on this site isn't really a good idea...

Hm... I asked Leslie before releasing this if I could release it and he didn't deny it, but said I it was great.

I wonder why I have to upload it becuase nobody gives feedback (would be nice and interesting), so I'm not sure if it was already downloaded.

Well I tried downloading it but I got about 90Mb before it stopped. When I tried to open the rar file it said it was corrupted. Hope it works this evening.

Erm, I think your missing my point. The copyright of all video of a Formula 1 race is held by Formula 1 Management (FOM). So advertising that you are distributing this without written permission is not a good idea.

Well, as I'm going on a short holiday tomorrow (I'll be back on sunday evening) I won't upload it.
It's a pity with that copyright stuff It's such an interesting video!

Hmmm... as long as he doesnt sell the video I don't think there's any problem or anything the FIA would be mad and sue about.. then again I'm not an lawyer.
