I want Trulli to win, but I have a feeling Fernando will.

Raikkonen has got to be the number one tip for victory - the McLaren is well sorted at the moment, he's running last in first qualifying, you could almost say it was his to lose from the outset.

But I think Giancarlo Fisichella and Jarno Trulli will be threatening as well - Trulli has an excellent shot at pole, and if gets that that he may well repeat his 2004 win. Alonso hasn't been as spectacular at Monaco in the past as he has at other circuits, but Fisichella is very handy.

I also expect Montoya to make a step forward at Monaco, and, of course, Michael Schumacher will do a lot better than everyone expects. I wonder just how much fuel they can squeeze into that Ferrari?

Alonso hasn't been so good at monaco Trulli always beated him there and I think that Fisichella will beat Alonso too but Kimi will be the winner :) but also Trulli is very good so we will see...

Michael isnt gonna stop til Montreal! They wont even refuel from the barcelona race!

No seriously, you have to pick raikkonen or alonso as favourites, but im gonna edge with fernando, just because renault seem to have been quick in recent years around the twisty stuff.

the interesting thing will be that there is a much smaller margin for error around monaco that it will probably be a battle of who is controlled enough to get the most out of the car. you never know, montoya may surprise, he has a habit of escaping f**K ups!

Fernando seems to have a better chance of winning, but Kimi has good chances too. Whoever gets around the first corner first is my pick to win.

if it rains, IF! :D wow the excitement!

we could have a spectacular race with a totally unexpected winner - like coulthard! how sweet would that be for his bonus statement on monday morning!

i think trulli will be the man on fire, he will get the pole no doubt about it!

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

if mclaren is reliable not like imola then def'ly kimi will win. if temperature is hot not like usual climate in monaco then ferrari will struggle, if not who knows micheal is really dangerous. except montoya too dangerous he is up on the grid for sat qualifying, chances are there for him too if got placed in top three.

i don't think alonso will have chances unless the above three driver makes mistakes. but renault car is good but not as good as mclaren and ferrai pace but poor ferrari really seeking to see both the cars pass the line in 2005 champ season.

i think ferrari deserves the situation at present, they are acting too much especially Jean Todt IN FERRARI TEAM. at the start of season he mentioned his team drivers and crew are superstars which i don't like fluanting at all.

it is just my opinion , if anyone hurted regarding this topic from me. i am sorry then.

no matter who gets pole, Ste Devote at the start of lap 1 will definately be interesting.

Unfortunately, the Australian broadcaster has decided in their infinate wisdom, not to start coverage until 11pm AEST (race starts at 10pm). Which is a brilliant idea. The race I'm going to be watching will be between the live grand prix and the coverage to see whether the race will finish before I've seen a car on the track.

I reckon Fisichella for the win, but Kimi's quick there and Montoya's VERY strong. Remember 2003, he owned everyone to get Williams their first win of the season. But I just reckon the Renault will have the edge on performance, and Alonso's never been great there.

Fisichella worries me. I've always thought he was great, but this year is fast becomming a case of 'It's all going to come together for me THIS WEEK!' and then the wheels fall off the car or some such.

I think Alonso has the momentum to clock up another win. It's like his destiny or something(or is that danm banner working subliminally on my mind??)

If Ferrari send Micheal out to qualify with more than 6 laps of gas in the tank I will be SHOCKED and HORRIFIED! He simply must start from the front, and it would also put him out of synch with the other front runners and allow for a super long second stint. Of course if there is an early safety car he would be screwed, but there really is nothing to lose now.
