i dont knw how ppl say Tiago gets the crap parts..

Jordan are not like that, and how do they???

Tiago was given full priority last week for testing new aero parts..

U had doubts about Narain and thought he would loose to Tiago...until i saw Aust Q1 :)

He's sh*t. Raikkonen's the real deal. :P

and that has absolutely nothing to do with this conversation

you can tell he is good because there is a very big difference in performance between him and monteiro, in identical (yes, identical) cars. i think the idea of him being favoured is just sour grapes from the people who can't believe that monteiro is so crap! just look at onboard footage of them, NK is so much smoother and controlled. TM is typical crap rookie who will be straight back into a lower formulae next year.

That's what I'm thinking about Karthikeyan. However, when Alonso was driving for Minardi, everyone was saying what a star he's going to be, but I didn't believe it until 2003 when he got a good car.

So I guess it's another one of those waiting games...

Sorry but thats not true.
Narain ran for 2 full days at paul Ricard and Tiago just one and he could only do not much more than 30 laps,and Narain in the 2 days he was there he completed more than 200 laps.
Also at the first test at Barcelona Narain got the first Ej15 while Tiago had to run with the old Ej14b for 2 days...
So dont tell me that they have the same treatment because thats totally untrue!
And lets not talk about Jordan because theres no more Jordan in F1,its Midland now...So its all about money now!!

@Muttley

Ofcourse Narain looks a more smooth driver than Tiago,because I REPEAT he is having a much better treatment from the team,Tiago is always complaining about the car,since the beguining of the season hes having lots of problems with it and it seems that the team just dont care...
And dont tell me that hes a crap driver,I have followed is career since he was in F3 and was 2nd in the european championship,and I remenber in his first F1 test with renault in the end of 2002 he was just 1 second off the pace of Alonso with a car and circuit that he never drove before.
In all the series he has been he always had great results,last year in IDENTICAL cars in his 1st season he crushed Narain karthinkeian in the Wsn and challenged Kovalainen for the title till the last race!
In champ cars were its a more driver demanding series because you have no driver aids with a crap Reynard chassis and in the worst team in the grid he made 1 pole and led 3 races,making several top 10 finishes not no mention the hermanos rodriguez race where he drove all race in the top 3 only dropping to 6th place because a very slow pit-stop.
So show a little bit more of respect!

@Pooky
The only think laughble here is you writing sentences like this:
"if you were a good driver, it would not matter how many car problems you had, you would still shine"

I wont even comment that...

well pookys comment is correct :/

and sorry. your rite bout the testing :)

but you mentioned all this stuff about Tiago being quick in these series, but F1 is totally different... about bein 1 sec of alonso... the cars are now different to drive so that is irrelevant.. and identical cars in the nws.. maybey but again who cares if he crushed him in that series again it is totally different to driving an f1 car..

And Narain is obviously good to be given a few f1 tests before and in which i beleive he was quick but as i sed who cares that was then this is now...

Is there any real evidence of Jordan somehow treating Narain better??

that is an excuse ppl make up if their crap, like Pizza boy.. its all in their mind..

face it.. Narain is better IN F1, not nessessrily NWS or f3 but he is in f1!

I can accept Kimi, Alonso, MS, JPM and GF are better than JB... im sure you can accept this :P

@Chet

I respect your opinion :) but...
about your question "Is there any real evidence of Jordan somehow treating Narain better??"

You want better evidence than the Barcelona and Paul ricard tests?
When Karthikeian signed for Midland he said he was gonna be the number 1 driver...

you lie chet about the JB statement...
anywho Pooky's statement is soooo incorrect give any of the top drivers a @#$%& car and they will be @#$%& no question about that. Kimi , Michael S , Montoya and co can safely say that...the 19A, FW26A, 2004M e.t.c. are testament to that. Even Button to an extent thats why Chet made excuses for him for Aussie --> Bahrain ;)
About unfair treatment i am none the wiser than anybody in this thread.

at the end of the day narain watever will be no more than a mid team driver and unless Carlin keep him on in 2006 then maybe we wont even see that. There are much better drivers in GP2 atm e.g. Speed , Jose Maria Lopez [MM's tip for the future ;)], Kovalainen [MM's tip for the future ;)], Lapierre, Rosberg.

@Chet and Geno: you are both biased in a way ;) Chet because you have indian heritage and Geno because you are portugeuse

How do u know? Have you seen it? Have you got links to inside Jordan?

They also bought a new windtunntl last month mostly for 2006 but also to test parts out for the EJ15B.

because theyve started this season with last years car updated to the new regs, like Minardi did with the new car still in development.

So why have they called Ej15 to the car that they started this seaso? it would make more sense to call it Ej14b then,if it was just a car updated to the new regs.

Ask the team, no idea. But it would be very stupid to use a car thats a year old and build some updates on it, its a waste of time and resources. Theyve easily got the cash to do it if hes just purchased the Brackley windtunnel.

I agree,but i am not seeing them building a new car,while next year they are gonna use Dallara chassis.

they'll most probably build the car that was planned when EJ was in charge... afterall the team doesn't really become Midland until next year, even tho it isn't really Jordan anymore.

And anyway, Narain's just doing a better job than Tiago :p
