After the weird front wing (which actually looks a lot different form another perspective) the complete car is rather convential. Not bad, but nothing really spectacular. What an anti-climax. :|

Anyway, as long as it's fast.

It's designed by Geoff Willis , isn' t it? If so, then I think it's strange that there is nothing recognizable from the williamses he used to design a couple of years ago. It's indeed more like a ferrari... (great livery though).

to me it looks like last years car with a new front wing and rear wing. I also thought the whole front wing had to be a certain height if so that dip in the wing is to low

No ofcourse not, but you have to admitt that for example the ferrari's designed by byrne and the mclaren's from newey always have looks that they had from years before... And there always is a sort of style a designer has

well the first BAR Willis designed, the 2003 car I think, was what the 2003 Williams could have looked like if he had stayed there.

how can a 2005 BAR look like a 2005 Williams that has been designed by someone completely different?
and why would a 2005 car look anything like a car he designed a few years ago? surely he has got better at designing and though of new stuff, or refined his ideas???

i like the black around the cockpit, and the red on the engine cover.

correction - look at the 2002 williams........then look at the 005. Willis had half a year to design the 2003 car, his first full BAR was the 006 ;-)

he started with the 004 for a couple weeks, then moved to their new one, but never had enough time.

the 005 also had the same turn in understeer the FW24 had :)

PS - the wheelbase of the 007 is 30mm longer. quite strange, i wud have thought it wud have been smaller, well mayby its bcoz of the new regs, making the wings more closer. they have made the rest longer

but basically they first couple of cars he designed for his new team is what he probably would have doen had he stayed at williams, the main concepts. his influence can't still be felt at williams now.

i know what your saying about ferrai looin ght esame for seasons in a row but if u have the 006 the 007 is most likely gonna be a development upon that then to change the overall appearnce to a car years old

agreed, apparently they still use his euxhaust system, well did.

and also the cooling on the BAR was very similar to that of the FW23/4 and first stages of the FW25.
