Packing more meat??

I always thought Kimi was a skinny chap and JPM the beefy one?

This pic from testing today in Jerez proves different, can anyone count the number of chins the fin is sporting? Is this a new aero device??? Also not
sure on the validity of the AT&T sponsorship deal, Kimi could do with a long-term
contract with Clearasil (aren't Fin's supposed to have perfect complexions?)!

Aren't drivers allowed to choose their own branding of overall?

I remember Irvine used OMP and Schumacher used some other brand in 99 and they had distinctively different suits.

F1 drivers necks cant be compared to normal peoples. They are very chunky from muscles, not fat

@ Intweb, yes drivers can get suits from different companies. MS uses OMP, while Rubens uses Sabelt, but they are still the same design.

the 2 things the drivers are wearing in this pic are 2 completely different items. Kimi is wearing the actual racesuit, JPM is wearing the jacket they wear over the racesuit when in press conferences, so they sponsors logos look better.

the shoulder straps things that have the michelin logo on them aren't even real, so JPMs can't be a real racesuit.

strange how his suit doesn't have those shoulder strap things though. what are they for? are they for marshalls to grab to get a driver out of the car quickly in case of fire or something?

Yep, that's what they're for. They're called epaulettes, after epaule, the French word for shoulder.

Yep - looks like all those boozing sessions in Gran Canaria has taken his toll on Kimi during the winter break.
Either that, or he has been stuffing his face with Christmas Dinner, or the Finnish equivilent, to give him that spotty face.... Mind you, he's still very young...

But it's good to see that JPM is looking better already, and he wants to do more. He recently said that Williams never forced him to sort out his weight, only to keep telling him that he was fat. Obviously, Ron Dennis wants to make sure he keeps it off.
