Minardi Car Launch

I have just got back from the Grand Prix promo this morning at Melbourne's City Square. Saw Mark Webber and they started the Williams F1 which sounded unreal

He is 6ft 3 inches (1m 92cm). His height prevented him from fitting into a Minardi car early in 2002 when he was due to replace Alex Yoong.

car looks very nice, I hope Wilson does well. He's very talented and deserves a shot at F1

It might just be a problem. I'm 1m93, which is the only reason I didn't get into F1

it has been a problem, thats why he's only just getting into F1. Minardi have designed this car with his height in mind though so there shouldn't be a problem

He is, but his height is emphasied in that picture by the fact that the other drivers are pretty titchy. In fact, when you see the pre-season photograph of all the drivers on benches on the grid at Melbourne, Wilson will again look like an absolute giant because a vast majority of F1 drivers are very small. Particularly Villeneuve. Geez, I couldn't believe the first time I saw him for real, he's so tiny! Same goes for Schumacher, really not very tall.

Edit: That guy on the far right of the picture must be pretty damn massive! He's taller than Wilson by the looks of it!

Well I am about 6 foot 2.

It does cause some problems driving. When i was learning to drive. I had to pull my seat a long way from the steering wheel and my instructor practically had to look behind his bck to talk to me!

I have seen more photos of the car launch at AlphaF1.com and their exhausts looks a lot different from other cars.
