How fast is Yoong?

I want to ask you something about Alex Yoong....

He started his career in Monza against Alonso (very fast driver) and lost the fight against him.

In 2002 he raced against Webber (also very fast) and was able to follow him in indy, so Yoong is as fast as webber, and webber is one of the bast drivers

So, I think : give hime a 2nd chance!!

er... hmmm....

Where is Yoong nowadays? It's some obsucre formula, I know, and a bunch of rookies who have never been in F1 are thrashing him.

Just because he runs close to his team-mate in ONE RACE during the year is not an indication thta he is worthy of an F1 drive.

err... ! hmmm...?

He ran comfortably midfield in the bathurst 24hr event didnt he? Drove CART last year too for a short time

yeah until he got dropped/money ran out... he is driving in the V8's 2nd series like palomonio said, and NOT doing very well at all, hed be 3/4 down the field for most races id say

Well there always a chance of a BAR drive?! He might score some points!

Well, Im not really a fan of him, but his career started against 2 of the best drivers of the field ==> really unlucky

But sure I want to have only fast, talented drivers in F1!, not the money drivers as Yoong, but if he had driven against Marques (or another slow driver) in the beginning, I think he should be still in F1 at the moment

its good for f1, that drivers like yoong arent in it.

he even needed to quit 2 races to practise on fast laps and Davidson replaced him and qualified hisself at spa and hungary (not easy circuits so...)

yoong: the fastes malaysian driver (probably there's only yoong who is driving over there)

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

Correct Sam. Everything is realtive. In realtive terms, Yoong is unfrotunatly a very poor race driver. As are quite a few of the drivers who get into back of the grid teams
