I liked Darrell Eastlake as a F1 commentator, too.
I don't know why he got fired, maybe because of his outburst at the end of the 2002 Austrian GP, when he payed out Jean Toht and Ross Brawn, or there was another race where he payed out Martin Brundle's comments about finding a way to slow down the Ferrari cars.
Either way, I'll miss him, Alan Jones, Murray Walker, and all the rest of the commentators who have been associated with Channel 9 one way or the other.
I really, really hope that Channel 10's commentators (whoever they may be) are up to the same calibre as Ch. 9's.
