is this going to be your first attendence at a F1 race?

you'll love it when you hear the engines fire up in the pits then witness them screeching out of the pits for the first time

i was grinning from ear to ear when i first saw F1 's

i still do even now when i see them

You will enjoy it mate, i cant remember the first time i heard a gp car, it was so long ago, lol, no seriously, dont forget your ear plugs (just incase) you going to 1 day or all days?

but now you say your coming from perth, youve got a lot to sort out and a lot of money to pay, lol where is the moss stand anyway?

Moss Stand is right infront of the lit lane exit, opposite the big screen.. u can see the pits, pit straight, and turn 1, and also the final turn..

i'm gettin to melb wednesday, leaving for perth again monday.
so i'll be there all days :D

yeah.. by virgin blue, it aint costin too much.. still its lots of money to see a GP

i've been to the 2000 british gp and the 2002 british gp

and the EJ10 celebration at donington park to celebrate jordans 10th season in F1 ( they had the 10 cars that they raced and the current season cars too driven by frentzen & trulli)

been to both thunder in the parks ( featuring the minardi F1's)

been to a few of the F1 thoroughbred races featuring the likes of senna & mansells lotus's rosbergs williams etc

and went to the euro boss F1 series ( which featured the 94 ferrari of alesi and had the original V10 engine in it ) that was a sound to behold


i only wish i'd known about brundle driving the 2000 ferrari at donington for itv-f1, i'd have loved to have seen and heard that in action

I'll be there, I usually get a four day gen admission pass if I can't scam any freebies. I share it around with friends for thurs and fri, usually there's a group of about 10 of us get together for Sunday. It would be nice to get into one of the stands but I'd be there on my own and all my mates would be out in gen admission, not all of them can afford that sort of money for a race or even get the time off work to go for the whole four days. Last year I had two outer paddock passes for the four days which was pretty cool so a friend and I got to suss out all the pit-babes, we tried to get in a bit further but security made us so we had to leave...damn lol. A mate is a track marshall there so I just have to do some major sucking up to get some decent passes Last year I photographed the building of the track on the two weekends before they shut down admission and I put it up on my ftp space. See you there...woohooo

interesting statement, considering sales for tickets are up by 24% on last year already. Most of the stands are almost sold out. They have stopped selling tickets to almost all of them to sell some GA ones. Which have just gone on sale.

I got my tickets about 3 weeks ago in the Brabham stand. Inside turn 2 ($549 or so - can't remember). We have a good spot where we can see turns 1 and 2 really well and also most of the track up to turn 3. Last couple of years I've be General Admission and this year decided that I didn't want to walk a million miles to watch from different circuit parts. The other years I have watched on the hill between turn 2 and 3, so I know and like the view.
can't wait for it all to start...

hopefully theres good views from moss stand.. coz i really dno :s i fort it could see turn 1 and the entire main straight... but i dno if that stupid bridge that goes across their could be in the way

G'day all..

I'm working on getting my dad to fly down with me to see it, cos I've never been to an f1 event before either. He seems pretty interested, so you should be able to notch me up on the forum members present as well :-D

Was planning on going to belgium 2003, but the FIA seem to have stopped that. Im looking for the cheapest one i can - im 100% sure its cheaper to go to mainland europe than Silverstone
