Ferrari are considering leaving f1, if the rules change!

I'm looking forward to this, although it might damage the sports credibility

Max Mosley is on collision course with Ferrari after Luca di Montezemolo threatened an F1 pull out.

The Ferrari President has made the threats after FIA boss Max Mosley spent the Japanese Grand Prix weekend lobbying team bosses over proposed changes to spice up the action in F1.

Di Montezemolo is furious that Ferrari

ROFL!

I can't see it happening unfortunately though. Maybe when Scumacher retires, but probably not before

And is Ferrari will go out of F1, there will be less spectators, then now.

He's right. Much as you abhor it, and won't accept it, F1 will be RUINED if Ferrari leave. It won't have anywhere near the same sought of passion and excitement. Just the name "Ferrari" is a wonderful thing for F1 to be associated with. Anyway, I don't know why I'm bothering to say this, because it will probably never happen.

thats what ferrari used to about but not anymore

i'd describe them as cold & calculating & minipulatitive, team orders barring their drivers from actually participating in a race ain't passionate or exciting in my book.

This season has'nt been passionate, sure we have the so-called tifosi who are mainly german and are only in it for MS,

The real tifosi stayed away and there was a record low attendance at this years italian gp.

Well said LS.

Even the most passionate of fans know when their own team is ruining themselves. Even though like you say, this has very little chance os happening, I could only see it being a positive effect and not a negative one.

Just power play, nothing more really.
And the Todt/Schumacher era at Ferrari will end.
F1 right now has far deeper problems that Ferrari fixing races. Suzuka wasn't fixed but was no fun at all.
That's the real problem: F1 now lacks spectacle and competition.
Ferrari or not Ferrari.

It wont and shouldnt happen, ferrari will lose their advantage. Im not a ferrari fan but c'mon people get on with it and give credit to the team and ms for building the team into what it is now. The one thing i would like to see is the money distributed more fairly to the other "mediocre" teams like jordan, jaguar, sauber, minardi e.t.c to give them a brillant chance to come back.

however much you argue that Ferrari are ruining the sport (which i believe they are doing at the moment) is they leave a lot of f1 fans, loyal to ferrari will also leave. Believe me, there are a lot of them.

The FIA need to look more carefully at the money aspect, not all the new fancy ideas, with the economy buggered up at the moment and ferrari taking lots of money i feel they should have slightly less, giving more to other teams (for example the TV and race sponsorship money) . A fairer way of ensuring development.

Ferrari quitting and radical rule changes is not the way forward, F1 is evolution, not revolution..

Thank you

they're just threatening to leave to try to stop the changes going through, I doubt it'll ever happen

F1 will be RUINED if Ferrari leave

rubbish, as LS said Ferrari are no longer about passion and racing anyway. If they left F1 would lose some credibility but the way Ferrari are going about damaging the sports credebility will it really damage the sport that much? Ferrari are not bigger than F1

a bit naive mate, i expect that eddie jordan would buy a new yacht with any extra income
