Ok, Vader, don't be so harsh on Nurbür :P
But ok race, can't really expect much of F1 these days. Juan is completely to blame, Takuma too. I was sorry for Kimi...now that he deserves a podium finnish (ha, see the little playing with words? ;)), he doesn't get it.
I'm mad at Rubinho...that driver that was once very good and with a very bright future is gone. Just it, gone.

true braking and accelerating at the same time like some drivers do will put undue stress on the engine,

but this is michaels driving stlye 0 and that ferrari is bullet proof.

My two cents.

Sato screwed the pooch.

How ever highly you rate Button he's been gifted two podiums now by Sato errors and engines.

When is Frank(Williams) gonna get some people in that car that can drive!?

sato screwed up and in bahrain button was right behind sato before his gurney flap came off and he would have passed him in pitstops

O.K. Button wasn't gifted two podiums; he was handed them on a platter! Don't get me wrong, I think button is good. (as opposed to great) And am just very frustrated with Sato being unable to take the next step and get on that podium for whatever reason.

Button was handed this one, but not the last one in Bahrain, he was faster than Sato ffs

if this is bahrain, i also overlayed both drivers race laptime graph, while they were both still active, in the race, and jenson as i said at the time was the third fastest driver over that period of time, in the race, despite what some ppl wanted to make up at the time! :)

He was faster than Sato, and properlyy faster even before Satos problems, but he was handed the one in Bahrain by JPMs car failure, rather than Satos

Besides catching up on a driver is one thing. Getting past him is another. We seen it often enough that faster cars are stuck behind slower cars, so Sato might have managed to stay ahead of Button until the end of the race.

Andy Mad, ur post nearly made my head explode trying to comprehend some of the things in it!

schumy pitted on lap 8 and without his cheats fuel it would have been lap 6, so i think its obvious he's after senna's pole record. and with someone fiddling the timing devices, it shouldn't take long :|

This would be the standard anti-schumi fanboy then i assume?

Only just watched the race. JPM's fault entirely at start, best part of race was the racing with Klien though. Sato drove well, except bit lucky that Trulli didn't want an accident at the first corner and then nearly threw Trulli off at turn 4, and the move on Rubens was never gonna happen. Barrichello was already turning into the corner as Sato came steaming in.

he was marvellously late on the brakes and still made the pass, despite chopping off his front wing.

But would he have if Rubens wasn't there to stop him? :)
Still, he did outperform Button.

Trulli still showing up Alonso, proving that he's still got so much to prove. McLarens just aren't even funny anymore. Another good race by Fisi too, outperformed Massa ever since Sepang. Webber had a decent race too. Overall quite a boring grand prix though.

Oh, did anybody else see the Ferrari team member who was collecting the constructors trophy, bash the man's head who was infront of him? Made me laugh :)

i'm just glad sato has balls and dares to attack ferrari and play them at their own game. for all ralf's crashes, he wouldn't dare to attack his brother when he sat behind him at montreal last year. everyone complains we get no overtaking, but when someone gives it a go they get criticised. after all, sato did the same thing to coulthard in bahrain and it worked, so he can't be criticised for having a go here. he knew that his tyres would go off so he had to do it when he did. im not sure if being patient would have worked because RB's tyres would have come in pretty quickly.

He was faster than Rubens though, instead of going for a move that was never on, why not set Barrichello up and make a move at the Hairpin or last chicane? The BAR is mighty on the brakes and Sato was faster so in the next couple of laps he could have had a good handful of opportunities.

I don't want to defend Sato here, but for me it looked as if Rubens did sleep a bit there, too. He was definitlely not looking in his mirrors, but rather cruising in sleep-mode. If he had been aware Sato was THAT close, he wouldn't have left the door that wide open and Sato would have never felt invited to make a move.

See what your saying but in my view, Rubens was at the point where he was going into the corner and therefore didn't need to be looking in his mirrors anymore. I'd agree that he was caught out by the move, but not to the extent that he was sleeping. I imagine that as soon as Sato had started the move he knew it was never going to work, a bit like in GP4 when u go for an overtaking move and then as soon as you commit, you just know it's going to end in tears. Still, Sato saw a chance and went for it, gotta give him something for going for it at least i suppose. You live & learn. Gotta remember this is his first year at the sharp-end and so is still learning a lot.
