Minardi could go out of business after the British Grand Prix unless they find new funds.

Team boss Paul Stoddart has revealed that he does not have enough cash to complete the Formula 1 season because the outfit has been denied prize money by the legal case involving Prost buyers Phoenix.

When Prost went bankrupt earlier in the year, Stoddart assumed his outfit would be promoted to 10th in the 2001 constructors

It is sad, but I just cannot imagine that anybody in a position to help them would let it happen. I don't think they'll "go under" because somebody with a lot of money should and will help them.

I'm a bit confused as to why Minardi are owed money from the 12th team. Did they buy the TV revenues from last year from Prost?

It appears that if I had read the article correctly, I would know by now....Where's that edit function!
