What happened to him? Is he a tester or something?
He did a great job in the Minardi last year, so why is he not in it this year?
Does anyone know?

He's a test driver for Renault. I think that's great news for him on the way up to the podium

Alonso said that it is his dream come true to test drive for Renault. I'm really pleased for him because he's a super driver - if testing for Renault is his dream, goodness knows what he'l' think when he joins a top team for a proper drive!

I think Frank Williams and Patrick Head are mighty pissed with Ralf and if JPM gives him the kicking i'm expecting to this year I do think he'll be making way for Button. hope so anyway

I think Alonso is better than Ralf, if you stick Ralf in a Minardi i dont think he could have done what alonso did!

I always knew he was destined for greatness. I dunno why. I just didn't think it would take as long.

yeh..bu tthe thing is..people claim a lot of drivers are "destined for greatness" in fact the between 98 and 2001 i think almost all new hotshoes entering f1 were destined for greatness, mainly cos the drivers fightint the championship out..were hardly the biggest characters.

And in 2001 aswell, even if Hakkinen wasnt on pace and realibility with MS.
