May I spot two mistakes for French Grand Prix ?
Wrong map. Map is the one of Azerbadjian instead of France.
The track name is Circuit Paul Ricard, not Paul Richard. Drop the H and I'll be 'appy'

Halo aside, that's the nicest Williams since 1999. Or possibly since 2007.

I like the black, works well.

Hate the shark fin, why do we still have them???

Shame about those driving it, eyyy?

The RB14 is currently wearing a special edition livery. We're keeping our race-ready paint job under wraps for the time being and will unveil it at the Circuit de Catalunya next week. The unfamiliar shapes under the paint, however, are here to stay.

The Sauber is ugly from all angles except from behind. Like the new Renault, looks better than last year's.

*YAWN* I cannot believe anyone has done LESS to the livery than Williams has (compared to 2017).

I think more and more... if it weren't for the liveries then it would be nigh impossible but for a complete anorak to tell the difference between any of the cars.

Super fugly!

Let Toto have his chainsaw!

I am sure we are going to get used to them, and that they (or some other iteration) is here to stay, but it is getting silly now. If we looked at statistics, I feel confident that we would find that the average amount of "damage" (injuries/fatalities) is significantly lower than what you find in private motoring.

Now why is that something, why shouldn't we just beef up all the safety measures we can?

Because with that line of reasoning, you will eventually arrive at a motorsports ban. That is the safest option, and only option, there is no discussion to be had against it - nothing can maximize safety more than that. So IF you want motorsports, then you have to assume some level of driver damage will happen over time, and then the discussion is "what is acceptable"? And to be frank, every other sport that involves physical prowess operates under the exact same reasoning and many on a level that is lower than in F1 or motorsports in general.

Clearly, as being a driver is a profession, then safety has to be so, that you can expect to execute a career and retire in good health, just like any other profession (and there are actually several sports where you cannot expect to do this). So if it is the case, that current safety levels per driven kilometer is BETTER than the private sector, then the real question should be, why do we accept safety standards that are lower (not in terms of impact structures, roads and features, but in damage per kilometer) for ourselves, and especially for professionals like parcel delivery, taxi and truck drivers? What is the reasoning for upping safety for F1 drivers past the levels you accept for yourself when you get into a car? F1 drivers are not more important than you.

Of course, I could be wrong on the statistics, but I am pretty sure that I am not.

It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.
