So I went on Twitter tonight to post a couple of Tweets, and I find out Lewis has been bitching big time about how Jenson "unfollowed" him, before realising Jenson never followed him in the first place...

LMAO!

This is getting silly now. I'm starting to think he needs a Twitter babysitter.

I've never been a particular fan of Hamilton's personality (or my perception of it) but every time he tweets or opens his mouth I like it even less.

Excellent driver, very entertaining on track, but dammit what a tool.

Still, can't like everyone.

This is the reason so many public figures outsource their social media to professionals. It's funny how we on one hand have this constant drum beat of "boring PR managed robot personalities" in F1, but every time we have drivers that do not adhere to the strict instructions of the PR professionals, there is a line of people ready to tear them a new one...

It's not the F1 teams that are creating the robot personalities... it's you guys!

Oh, personally I love how his princess rainbow sparkle personality is not being filtered by boring PR robot management.

I Agree can't have everybody in the world running as automatons.... but God! He's so bloody childish ...... and the voice, he's so insipid to listen to. It's true, I for one would never agree to stereotyping but he has no personality worth a damn I.M.O Little wonder so many people find him offensive or so damned right annoying.

Very true; drivers don't have to be 'corporate drones', but they don't have to act like anuses either...

as far as I remember, the driver that everyone worships as the untouchable legend of all time was a utterly egotisitically self-serving dick. While few have attained the same status, nothing personality wise is really new under the sun.

The moral outrage over it, is though.

It may seem that way but as I stated, it's just my opinion. Not everyone will agree but many do. It's just the way I see him, just my own perception of the man, not asking anyone to feel the same because I dont feel the same as everyone ........ for instance, I thought Senna & Schumacher were both arrogant but without the squeaky annoying voice plus they were men and again only I.M.O better racers ...........

Just as well Ayrton Senna & Alain Prost didn't have twitter... Lewis is a childish imbicile... Credit to Jenson for not retaliating. Kudos

Nearly 24 hours later and he hasn't deleted the offending Tweets, LOL. Jenson, I'd imagine, won't be overly bothered - if it has annoyed him he's the kind of person who'll rise above it anyway.

I'd imagine they'd have each other blocked - and Prost would have been bitching about Senna to anyone who Tweeted him. Or something. :P

I wouldn't dare persume I'd have any kind of authority to expect a driver (or anybody for that matter) to conform to my expectations or my ideals, indeed I'm not saying how someone ought to behave.

Lewis Hamilton has no obligation to me and nor should he, but that doesn't mean I have to like his personality anymore than it means that his personality is defined by my perception of it.

Looks like a kind of F1 Sniff Petrol. Loads of thought and effort seems to have gone into it. Quality find!

The thing is Lewis was nearly a week late with his tweet, it had already been said on the day he signed with Merc that Button had deleted him but when Button was asked he said he never even followed him.

Lewis did say sorry later on and tbh nothing he said was that bad, I just thought it was a bit childish and he should have spoken to Button first.

I didn't say anyone had to like someone else. In fact I am not waving the tomahawk over your scalp at all.

If this comment is about Senna, you remember rather wrong.

And you won't wave it over anyone else's scalp either, unless you're partial to a good scalping with your own tomahawk.

That was a major part of the facepalm factor for me - why now? It was as confusing as it was amusing.
