I'm rooting for Selby! This one could go on a while! 14-12 to Higgings, an amazing comeback from Selby, was 12-4 to Higgins.

and how can it be called a sport? i know it takes skill and a lot of practice, so it's a hobby at best, but not a sport IMO. same as darts.

It changes from hobby to sport when competition starts. In the same sense that chess is a 'sport'.

I enjoy playing (though as with most I prefer pool), and I will watch the final if I can, just as I'll watch Augusta, but that's about as far as it goes.
